Bananny is a nonprofit addressing this childcare crisis by making nanny shares easier to arrange and improving outcomes.

How it works

Finding a compatible family for your nanny share starts here, without searching through stagnant profiles or navigating the complexities by yourself.

1. Complete our intake form

In just 3-5 minutes, you'll answer some questions that help us match you with another family.

2. Get matched with nearby families

You'll receive a email with how your answers compare to the other family we've matched you with. We give you the insight to make an informed decision and help you set expectations for a successful nanny share.

3. Accept or reject your match

You'll have 3 days to accept or reject your match. When both families accept, we introduce you to each other. When one rejects, both become eligible for a new match.

4. Find a nanny for your nanny share

After you've been introduced to your match family, we provide guidance on how to find and hire a nanny for your nanny share.
